Danny and Christine fans are not going to want to miss the episodes of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS airing on Monday, March 25, and Tuesday, March 26! “Even though it seems like they’re now kind of officially back together — which they are — it will be sort of like sealing the deal,” Lauralee Bell (Christine) previewed to Soaps in Depth. “You’ll definitely realize that they’re back together after these two shows.

“Danny plans something very romantic and they continue talking about whether she’s going to go on tour with him,” she continued. “These scenes are very… if you knew Cricket and Danny back in the day, it’s very classic, very romantic.”

When Christine and Danny first reconnected just before the holidays last year, Y&R used a song by Hannah Bates titled “Start Again” on the soundtrack. “The words are just extremely perfect for finding each other again,” Bell enthused. “So the 25th there’s a lot of that song involved in it. So I just love that if they’re going to continue to keep a theme song for us. I just think that is so classic soaps. It’s just not done as much anymore. And that would be one thing that I think all shows should bring back because music is so identifiable and so healing and can add so much, obviously.”

Of course, while Danny and Christine are finally able to enjoy their happiness, there’s a certain someone who would love nothing more than to spoil it! “I can’t say what happens,” Bell teased, “but Phyllis — not nearly to the extreme that she has been in the last couple months — but she can’t not make herself noticed in some way. So she does something that is classic Phyllis.

“Just the amount of insane things she’s done to try and put a hiccup in this relationship over the years,” she added, “just to make sure Cricket’s not happy. She does something that just reminds you of another insane thing that she would do to disrupt what was going on. And it was perfect. I was like, ‘Oh, now, this is so Phyllis.’”
