Y&R’s Michael Damian Releases New Holiday Music!

As you prepare to load up your yuletide playlist of tunes to put you in a merry mood over the next few weeks, there’s a new album from THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Michael Damian (Danny) that you should check out! The talented performer will drop a new album of Christmas songs very soon — and he has already released the first two singles!

On Nov. 1, Damian shared that “Bring Back the Christmas Card” — the first single from of his upcoming holiday album — was available for download on iTunes, Spotify, and other digital music retailers. “Hey friends, my new Christmas single, ‘Bring Back The Christmas Card,’ is out today! Hope you enjoy!” he wrote on Instagram.

A duet with songbird Heather Leucadia, the upbeat song is about the nostalgia of receiving an old-school Christmas card in today’s digital world. (You can listen to the catchy tune on Damian’s YouTube page.)

The next single the Y&R star dropped from his forthcoming album was “Christmas Time Is Here.” That romantic ballad will be featured in the Great American Family holiday film A Paris Christmas Waltz, which Damian co-wrote with his wife, Janeen, and directed! The romantic film, starring soap alums Jen Lilley (ex-Teresa, DAYS OF OUR LIVES; ex-Maxie, GENERAL HOSPITAL) and Matthew Morrison (Adam, AS THE WORLD TURNS), premieres on Sunday, Nov. 19, at 8 p.m. (You can also listen to “Christmas time Is Here” on Damian’s YouTube page.)

So far, Damian has not revealed a date for his album’s release, but the “Rock On” singer did share that his latest collection of songs will be available on iTunes and Spotify.
