Y&R’s Michael Mealor Is Engaged!
Please join us in congratulating THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Michael Mealor (Kyle) on his engagement to his girlfriend Sasha! While the actor is relatively quiet on social media, the bride-to-be shared some pictures and video from Nassau in the Bahamas where he popped the question on Nov. 1! “I love you, Michael. Forever,” she wrote.
And while Mealor has kept mum online about the engagement, in his own social media, he shared some love in the comments of her post, declaring: “I love you more than you know! You are my world and everything begins now!”
In Sasha’s Instagram gallery, the second slide is a video taken from a distance which appears to be part of the actual proposal. Although Mealor doesn’t get down on one knee, Sasha’s excited jumping and hugging and kissing would seem to be her enthusiastic “Yes!”
The other pictures in the Instagram post show their beautiful vacation in the Bahamas, with the first and last slides showcasing the gorgeous engagement ring on her finger. “Swoon,” Sasha responded to her new fiancé’s romantic comment. “Can’t wait to be a Mealor!”
Mealor took over the role of Kyle Abbott on Y&R back in March 2018, though he announced his exit from the soap in July 2021. He made occasional visits over the following year, finally returning full-time in March 2022.
