Y&R Alum Max Page Graduates From High School!

The child actor who was a scene-stealer when he was a little boy playing Victoria and J.T.’s son on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS is all grown up and a high school graduate! Max Page — who played Reed Hellstrom on and off from 2009 until 2015 — took part in the commencement ceremony at St. Margaret’s Episcopal School in Orange County, California, last weekend.

“And… CUT!” the excited high school graduate wrote on Instagram, posting a fun carousel of photos from his big night as he celebrated with his friends, parents Buck and Jennifer, and younger brother Els. “That’s a wrap for high school!”

St. Margaret’s also shared several photos on the school’s Instagram page, writing, “Congratulations St. Margaret’s graduates of the Class of 2022!” the school wrote on an Instagram gallery of photos of the graduation. “We are filled with love and joy after this weekend’s unforgettable Commencement Ceremonies celebrating you!”

Besides his role on Y&R, Page also found fame as the little Darth Vader in a Volkswagen commercial that went viral after airing during the 2013 Super Bowl. While he continued to act in projects in the years since he’d left Y&R, Page has also spent time in and out of the hospital, as he’s undergone over a dozen surgeries during his short life stemming from a congenital heart defect. Page missed the first few weeks of his senior year due to an unexpected hospital stay and surgery after which he fought COVID, but now he is a proud high school graduate headed to Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles!
