Jordi Vilasuso and His Wife Welcome Their Third Baby!

Please join us in congratulating former THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Jordi Vilasuso (ex-Rey) and his wife, Kaitlin, on the birth of their third daughter! Following a difficult high-risk pregnancy that required an emergency surgery for the actor’s wife, then months of bedrest, Kaitlin delivered a healthy baby girl around the new year that the couple have named Lucy Noelle!

Back on New Year’s Eve, the Vilasusos shared on Instagram that their little miracle would be surprising them with her grand entrance before the end of 2023. With Kaitlin at 35 weeks pregnant, it was a bit before the baby’s due date, but the couple admitted that “we are so blessed that we were able to make it this far.”

Presumably, the Vilasusos spent some time introducing baby Lucy to her big sisters — Riley, 11, and Evie, 7 — and adjusting to life as a family of five before they officially announced their new addition’s arrival on Jan. 6! “It is with overwhelming joy and the fullest of hearts that we welcome the answer to our prayers, our sweet Lucy Noelle. We have been waiting so long for you, little girl. ‘You are something between a dream and a miracle.’”

Lucy comes after the couple suffered two devastating miscarriages, and Kaitlin confessed that she sometimes doubted whether they were meant to have more children. “I truly never thought this day would come — as evidenced by my complete lack of preparation for this little bundle. I literally had not bought a thing,” she admitted. “But this little girl in my arms is proof that God’s promises are greater than our fears, no matter how big those fears are.”

In addition to his run on Y&R, the Daytime Emmy winner has played Tony Santos on GUIDING LIGHT, Griffin Castillo on ALL MY CHILDREN, and Dario Hernandez on DAYS OF OUR LIVES. He and Kaitlin married on Aug. 25, 2012, welcoming Riley that November and Everly in July 2016.
