Soaps In Depth writer Michelle Parkerton has been watching soap operas since As The World Turns’ Barbara Ryan got a visit from her son while in jail. After managing to schedule most of her college classes around General Hospital, she put her knowledge of daytime dramas to use while working for the much-missed Soaps In Depth print magazine. A reporter for the magazine’s entire 23-year run, Michelle covered the CBS sudser Guiding Light and NBC’s Days Of Our Lives and attended industry events like the Daytime Emmy Awards.
