Courtney Hope Brings Sally Spectra to THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS!

At long last, CBS has confirmed that Courtney Hope will be playing Sally Spectra on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS! When the actress teased she would be joining the soap back in August, who she would be playing was being kept under wraps. But now it has been revealed that she will be bringing her THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL character to Genoa City on Tuesday, Nov. 3! “New city, same sass!” Hope teased on Instagram.

Sally, who left the fashion world of Los Angeles in disgrace after faking a fatal illness to try and win back her ex-boyfriend, will arrive in Genoa City looking to make a fresh start. And obviously, she’s going to want to keep her colorful past a secret, but that will be easier said than done! Sally will come to town with an agenda and some surprising connections to major players in Genoa City, including Lauren Fenmore.

“We really enjoyed Courtney’s work on B&B,” said Josh Griffith, co-executive producer and headwriter of Y&R. “Sally Spectra is a colorful character that fans love watching. We are excited for her to stir things up in Genoa City and join our talented cast.”
