DAYS’ Chandler Massey is Engaged to Stephanie Bennett
Wedding bells will soon be ringing for former DAYS OF OUR LIVES star Chandler Massey (ex-Will) and his longtime girlfriend, Stephanie Bennett — and the couple walked away with absolutely stunning photos from their engagement portrait session!
The actor and the real estate agent recently did a nature-themed photo shoot with Atlanta wedding photographer Kim Hynes. Bennett was wearing a sunny yellow skirt-and-top combo while her groom-to-be was barefoot in black jeans and a white tee for the photo sesh, which had the couple sitting in the grass — among other romantic poses! — as they canoodled and smiled for the camera.
“Love is in the air!” Hynes wrote in an Instagram story, sharing several of the beautiful photos of Massey and Bennett that she captured with her camera. “Bring on all the spring vibes! These two lovebirds were down with all my ideas! Congratulations.”
As you can see from some of the photos, Massey is wearing a band on the fourth finger of his left hand. But Hynes said that the jewelry is not a symbol that the couple already got hitched, but rather a sign of a sweet gesture from Massey’s future bride! “Oh, and she proposed tonight!” Hynes noted on another slide. “If you see a ring on his finger, that’s why! He proposed to her previously and she wanted to surprise him!”
Last month, Massey wrapped up his most recent run as DAYS’ Will Horton. He made his debut in the role back in 2010, playing the part of Sami and Lucas’ son until 2013. A year later, the role was recast with Guy Wilson, but the character was killed off in October 2015. Then, in September 2017, Massey came back to the soap when it was revealed that Will was in fact very much alive. After exiting the canvas again in September 2020, Massey returned for occasional appearances and also appeared on the spinoff BEYOND SALEM.
Outside of his soap role, Massey has headlined several movies for Hallmark, including the upcoming film The Professional Bridesmaid. Co-starring fellow daytime alum Hunter King (ex-Summer, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS), that film is slated to premiere on Saturday, April 8, at 8 p.m.
