Colin on DAYS OF OUR LIVES — Everything You Need To Know

Another handsome bad boy has hit Salem leading viewers to ask who is Colin on DAYS OF OUR LIVES? The character first appeared in the April 27, 2023, episode of the soap and is played by London-born actor Jasper Newman. He has appeared in numerous short films as well as an episode of CAIN ENABLED and the HBO Max movie Alabama Snake. DAYS marks the actor’s daytime debut.

Colin was first seen when Talia Hunter met with him in a motel room and was revealed to be the one who pushed her to poison the biscuits at Sweet Bits. It was his mother who Chanel Dupree pushed off the roof, but he’s going about taking revenge in a much less legal way than his sister, Sloan Petersen, has! In fact, he claimed he didn’t want to bring Sloan in on their plan because it would make her an accessory and risk her law license. 

Talia recalled falling for Colin and putting her medical career on hold because of their immediate connection and continued to allow him to seduce her into listening to him. Although when she worried that her sister, police detective Jada Hunter, didn’t buy her alibi and suggested they slow the plan down, Colin’s darker side came out and he grew threatening.

For the next phase of his plan, Colin ordered Talia to seduce Chanel and then break her heart. She protested that she’s not gay or even bisexual, but Colin insisted that making Chanel pay for killing his mother will help cure his mood swings and depression. After she left, Colin had a run-in with a suspicious Xander Kiriakis and later texted talia to check on her progress with Chanel.
