Daytime Emmys 2022: Creative Arts Winners Announced!

Emmy season kicked off officially with the Daytime Emmy Awards Creative Arts & Lifestyle ceremony held on June 18. Presenters from the world of soaps included Jennifer Gareis (Donna, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL), Raven Bowens (Chanel, DAYS OF OUR LIVES), Tajh Bellow (GENERAL HOSPITAL), and Kate Linder (Esther, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS). In addition to the Emmys handed out in more than 30 categories, a Lifetime Achievement Award was given to THIS OLD HOUSE.
As you scan the list of winners below, you might be a little confused to see some talk shows. But that’s because the new rules this year have changed how certain categories work. Now, instead of separating categories between daytime dramas and daytime talk shows, the nominees have been combined into one category. Also, the digital dramas are now part of the primetime Emmys.
The main Daytime Emmys ceremony is still set to air on Friday, June 24, but take a look below at the categories that included soap operas in the nominees to see which soaps took home trophies so far this year!
