This Year’s Daytime Emmy Presenters and Performers Announced

After being postponed, the 50th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be held on Friday, Dec. 15, airing on CBS from 9-11 p.m. ET. ENTERTAINMENT Tonight’s Nischelle Turner and Kevin Frazier have already been announced as the hosts for the evening, but now performers and presenters have been revealed in anticipation of the big night!

The 2023 Daytime Emmys will feature a very special awards show reunion when THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS alum Shemar Moore (ex-Malcolm) presents daytime legend Susan Lucci (Erica, ALL MY CHILDREN) with her Lifetime Achievement Award. It was Moore who announced the Lead Actress category at the 1999 ceremony where he declared, “The streak is over!” as he named Lucci the winner that year, after 19 nominations.

One half of the country duo Sugarland, Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Jennifer Nettles will be performing her single “Life Is Sweet” during the In Memoriam segment as we remember all the people the daytime community lost this year.

As the 2023 Daytime Emmys ceremony unfolds, numerous stars from THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, DAYS OF OUR LIVES, GENERAL HOSPITAL, and Y&R will appear to present various awards. Among the actors and actresses appearing on stage that evening will be Y&R’s Lauralee Bell (Christine), Peter Bergman (Jack), Michael Damian (Danny), and Melody Thomas Scott(Nikki), B&B’s Don Diamont (Bill), John McCook (Eric), and Heather Tom (Katie), DAYS’ Mary Beth Evans (Kayla), as well as GH’s Finola Hughes (Anna), Donnell Turner (Curtis), and Laura Wright (Carly).

So make sure you tune in on Friday evening to see who takes home the Emmy trophies this year!
