Haley Pullos Pleads Not Guilty to Felony DUI Charges

Tags:

It may be some time before Haley Pullos returns to the role of Molly on GENERAL HOSPITAL. The actress has now been formally charged following her involvement in a near-fatal DUI incident.

TMZ is reporting that Pullos has been charged with one felony count of DUI causing injury, one felony count of driving with a .08 blood alcohol concentration, and one misdemeanor count of hit-and-run. The actress has entered a plea of not guilty, and a preliminary hearing is set for next month.

Pullos was arrested in April after she drove the wrong way on a freeway and collided head-on with another vehicle going approximately 60 MPH. Thankfully, despite the severity of the crash, no one was killed, but the other driver, Courtney Wilder, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and he is now suing Pullos himself

Police report that before this near-fatal accident, Pullos was involved in another hit-and-run earlier that evening. Authorities also found edibles and mini-bottles of tequila in her car following the arrest and said she showed clear signs of intoxication. A month following the crash, Pullos was seen entering Malibu Detox, a rehab facility.

Shortly before news of the crash was made public, Pullos released a statement that she would be taking time off from GH. “Unfortunately, I was involved in an automobile accident, and I’m doing okay, but I am going to need a little time to recover,” she said at the time. I will be back as soon as possible!”

Actress Holiday Mia Kriegel stepped into the role of Molly Lansing on May 25, and will likely continue appearing on GH for the foreseeable future given Pullos’ legal entanglements. Keep checking back here at SoapsInDepth.com for more updates on this story as it continues to develop.
