B&B Star Alley Mills’ Husband, Orson Bean, Dead at 91

Veteran actor Orson Bean has died at the age of 91 after being struck and killed by a car while crossing the street in Venice, CA. Soap fans know Bean as the husband of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL actress Alley Mills (Pam), and he even made a guest appearance on the soap back in January of 2016, playing a crotchety seatmate of Liam’s on a flight back from Australia.
An actor and comedian, Bean was also a writer and producer. He became very well known for his frequent appearances on THE TONIGHT SHOW as well as game shows like TO TELL THE TRUTH, SUPER PASSWORD, and MATCH GAME. He starred in Broadway shows like Will Sucess Spoil Rock Hunter? and Subways Are for Sleeping, which earned him a Tony Award Nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Musical.

Bean was a regular in TV series such as MARY HARTMAN, MARY HARTMAN, DR. QUINN, MEDICINE WOMAN and made guest appearances on shows like TWO AND A HALF MEN, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, and MODERN FAMILY. On the big screen, he could be seen in films like Being John Malkovich and The Equalizer 2.
