Baby Hayes on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL — Everything You Need to Know

Everyone loves a cute baby, and recent episodes have some viewers wondering who plays Baby Hayes on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL? Well, when the infant was first born back in June, Hayes was played by Samantha Worden, however, as of the Sept. 15 episode of the soap, that’s beautiful little Piper Harriot in the role! And for soap characters, the drama starts even before they’re born…

When Steffy Forrester discovered she was pregnant, she wasn’t sure if the father of her baby was boyfriend Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan or her ex-husband Liam Spencer, with whom she’d had an ill-advised one-night stand. Thankfully, a paternity test proved the Finn was the babydaddy, and he quickly proposed to Steffy to make their family official.

After delivering their son in a home birth, Steffy chose the name Hayes, after her mother, Taylor Hayes. (Although technically, Hayes is the last name of Taylor’s first husband, who was abusive and violent, so it may not be as sweet a tribute as Steffy had meant it to be…) Hayes’ parents were finally married, but that’s when Finn’s birth mother, Sheila Carter, resurfaced wanting to be a part of her son’s life… and her new grandson’s!

Given Sheila’s history, Steffy naturally wanted her to stay as far away from Hayes as possible and flipped out when she came home to find the villainess holding her baby boy in her arms. Sheila seems bound and determined to be a part of Finn and Hayes’ lives, so can Steffy continue to protect her son from his grandmother? Especially when Hayes’ dad doesn’t seem to understand how dangerous she can be?
