B&B Alums Gina Rodriguez and Joe LoCicero Are Expecting a Baby!
There is a baby on the way for two alums of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL! Married couple Gina Rodriguez (ex-Beverly) and Joe LoCicero (ex-Vinny) are expecting their first child together.
Rodriguez announced her pregnancy on July 30, her 38th birthday, in an Instagram post. “This birthday hits different,” the former B&B actress wrote, along with a heart emoji. The post included a sweet video montage of romantic moments Rodriguez and LoCicero have presumably shared over the past year, ending with the couple smiling over a positive pregnancy test.
After his wife’s joyous announcement, LoCicero made an announcement of his own revealing his excitement over impending fatherhood. Sharing a video of yoga guru Sadhguru speaking about the responsibilities of pregnancy, LoCicero wrote, “The love of my life is now carrying the new love of my life inside of her! I am exploding with joy every minute of the day. I could not be more excited for this incredible responsibility!”
As B&B fans will remember, Rodriguez played Beverly back in late 2011 and early 2012, a homeless teen whom Stephanie befriended and later hired to work as an intern at Forrester Creations. After exiting the soap, Rodriguez went on to star in the hit CW drama JANE THE VIRGIN, earning a Golden Globe award in 2015 for her work. Rodriguez met her husband on the set of the CW show when LoCicero guest starred as a stripper in a 2016 episode, and the couple tied the knot on May 4, 2019.
As for LoCicero’s time on B&B, the actor made his debut on the soap shortly after he and Rodriguez were married, playing Vinny Walker, a slimy drug dealer who was friends with Thomas. LoCicero appeared on and off until June 2021, — making his way up from drug dealer to lab tech — when Vinny was run down by Liam and left for dead on the side of the road.
