Henry Joseph Samiri Returns to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL!

Douglas on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL is getting a new look… but it’s actually his old look! Henry Joseph Samiri is returning to the role after Django Ferri filled in for a bit. Although when Ferri took over the role in August 2022, it was said the recast was permanent, that did not turn out to be the case.

Samiri’s first episode back will air on Monday, Oct. 10, according to the new issue of Soap Opera Digest. “I love being back home with my family in California and being back at CBS feels like home to me,” the young performer told the magazine.”I love everyone at B&B. They were my first TV family when I started acting at five years old.”

Born in 2016, Douglas Forrester was played by a pair of twins until 2019 when Samiri stepped into the role, making his acting debut. Since then, the talented young man has made appearances in shows like 9-1-1: LONE STAR, AMERICAN HORROR STORY, and HACKS. This past year, he was busy playing Jasper Ward in the upcoming Freeform series THE WATCHFUL EYE. But now that filming on that has wrapped, Samiri is available to return to B&B!

Given that the soap has launched a whole custody storyline surrounding Douglas, it made sense that they would recast in order to keep the boy on the canvas so they can tell it properly. But now, as the Forrester/Logan feud intensifies, Samiri will be back playing the child at the center of all the family drama. Keep watching B&B to see what happens next!
