Kayla Ewell Returns to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL… as Steffy!
It looks like actress Kayla Ewell is returning to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL! Although not as Caitlin Ramirez, the role she played from 2004-05. No, this time she’ll be playing Steffy Forrester! That’s right — because the soap has decided to use the real-life partners of stars for close-contact scenes during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, she’ll be stepping in to double for Steffy opposite real-life husband Tanner Novlan, who plays Finn!
“She is definitely game,” Novlan told Soaps In Depth back when he first debuted on B&B. “It’s a fun little trivia question for years to come for that scenario to play out. But she did come in and do some matching if we end up going down that road, and it’s gonna be pretty cool.”
On Sept. 4, Ewell shared a selfie with her hubby taken in the car that she captioned: “When Mom and Dad get to work together.” (The couple have a one-year old daughter, Poppy.) So it seems as though Steffy’s relationship with Dr. Finn is going to be getting a little less professional and a little more personal!
After leaving B&B in 2005, Ewell guest-starred on numerous primetime series like VERONICA MARKS, ENTOURAGE, and BONES. She played Viki Donovan on VAMPIRE DIARIES, and more recently, Nora Truman on ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO. Stay tuned to B&B to see if you can spot her!
