THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Tanner Novlan Returns to Primetime
When The CW sci-fi series ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO, premieres its third season on Monday, July 26, look for THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL star Tanner Novlan (Finn) to be reprising his role of Gregory Manes! The actor shared a masked selfie from the set of the show and captioned it with the premiere date and a little alien head emoji.
Novlan first appeared at the end of ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO, season two playing the brother of series lead Alex Manes. He works as a teacher on the Navajo reservation where he grew up, and in the second season finale, shot and killed heir father, Jesse — played by ONE LIFE TO LIVE alum Trever St. John (Todd/Victor) — to save his brother’s life.
According to the IMDb, Novlan is slated to appear in three episodes of the third season so far, but depending on what happens to his character, there could potentially be more. And given that he is just a recurring guest star, this primetime role should have no impact on his B&B status. Which is good, because Finn is preparing to marry Steffy and raise their child together, and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) has just returned to work after her maternity leave!
Before joining B&B, Novlan might have been best known for his role in the Liberty Mutual commercial as the bumbling actor, but he has made numerous appearances on primetime series including PARENTHOOD, RIZOLLI & ISLES, LETTERKENNY, and MODERN FAMILY. So get ready to watch Novlan in the new season of ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO, and you can catch up on the previous two seasons of the show on Netflix!
