When soap hopper Brian Gaskill added THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS to his lengthy resume, it was clear that his character of Seth Baker was only going to be on for a short while. However, his exit in the March 5 episode proved quite shocking when Jordan realized Seth was on to her and pushed him into the path of an oncoming car, killing him so he couldn’t ruin her devious plans!

“Between social media and the internet in general, news travels ridiculously fast these days, so… yeah, that happened,” the actor shared on Instagram shortly after his episode aired, urging fans to check out the show.

Gaskill went on to praise everyone at Y&R for welcoming him into the family, even if only for a brief period of time. “I had a great time on Y&R with the producers, directors, publicity department, and other actors,” he declared. “And it was incredible to see so much support from all of my friends on social media, who have been following along over the years. So grateful for all of you. Now let’s see what comes next…”

Back in 1994, Gaskill got his big break playing photographer David Michaels on primetime sudser MODELS INC. He then made his daytime debut taking over the role of Bobby Warner on ALL MY CHILDREN in 1995. After playing angel Rafe Kovich on GENERAL HOSPITAL spinoff PORT CHARLES, Gaskill moved over to CBS to play Oscar “Ozzy” Marone on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, B.J. Green on AS THE WORLD TURNS, and Dylan Lewis on GUIDING LIGHT.

So who knows what might come next for the talented actor… he could always add DAYS OF OUR LIVES to his list of daytime credits!
