What do you do when you are in love with one woman who has multiple personalities? THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS alum Tyler Johnson (ex-Theo) is about to find out when his new romantic comedy, My Favorite Girlfriend, premieres early next month!

Johnson headlines the charming new comedy as Conrad, an aspiring chef who is a bit of a commitment-phobe. His perfectly structured life is thrown for a loop when he meets Bonnie Piesse’s Molly, a bubbly social media influencer who is prone to spontaneity. All is going well for this mismatched duo until Southern belle Vanessa shows up, followed by sassy rocker Silk, and more — and Conrad discovers that his favorite girlfriend ever is actually several of them! Will Conrad be able to win over Molly… and all of her multiple personalities?

My Favorite Girlfriend “was an absolute pleasure to make,” the former Y&R star shared after a private screening of the movie in Los Angeles earlier this week. “I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to play Conrad. I’ll be forever grateful to the people who took a chance on me, the incredible crew (best I’ve worked with), the incredible cast (ditto), the vision of its creators, and the soul of the story. Thank you. I’m grateful you have given me a stage.”

In addition to Johnson and Piesse, Michael Nouri (ex-Caleb, ALL MY CHILDREN) also appears in the movie, which was written and directed by Amanda Raymond. “The talent that is attached to this project is humbling,” Johnson wrote in a follow-up post acknowledging his colleagues and the film’s executives. “Thank you, Saban Films, and everyone else involved. You made a dream of mine come true.”

My Favorite Girlfriend will open to a limited theatrical release on August 5, followed by a wider video-on-demand and digital release on Tuesday, August 9. Check out the trailer for the movie below and prepare to fall in love with Conrad, Molly, and all of her other personalities!
