Lauralee Bell Shares Another Video Love Letter to Y&R Fans
It’s probably only a matter of time before Lauralee Bell (Christine) steps behind the cameras at THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS as a director because the actress has proven herself quite a talent with shooting and editing her own videos for social media! Just a couple of months after showing off the results of asking her co-stars if they would dance for the fans, Bell offers up another video of her and her castmates hanging out on the Crimson Lights set!
“Another video showing us behind the scenes as we continue to thank the fans while we celebrate [Y&R’s 50th anniversary],” she wrote. “Seemed very fitting to play ‘Crimson and Clover’ in Crimson Lights. We love you guys! Thank you for watching Y&R!”
As Joan Jett & the Blackhearts’ cover of “Crimson and Clover” plays, the video starts off appropriately on the jukebox in Crimson Lights then walking through the entrance of the coffee shop. Stars like Courtney Hope (Sally), Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea), and Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe) play around behind the counter, Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) walks around looking extra glamorous in slow motion, and so much more!
There are plenty of Y&R stars included in the backstage video, but there are still plenty missing. “We had access to the set for a few quick days between scenes sometimes without lights,” Bell explained. “So if you don’t see some cast members it’s just because people weren’t in on those days. But we’ll try to do these videos whenever we can to remind you how much you’re appreciated!”
Bell promised to include some additional outtakes that didn’t make the final video in her Instagram stories, and revealed that there was one shot she had to omit for spoilers! “There was someone in a booth that I had to edit out so it didn’t give away a story coming up,” she teased. “I’ll put that picture out when the person airs in a few weeks.”
Consider us intrigued! Check out the video below and keep an eye out for more fun from Bell as Y&R continues celebrating its 50th anniversary!
