Melissa Ordway’s Daughter Got Her Cast Off!
Yay! Olivia Gaston is on the mend! THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Melissa Ordway shared a couple of photos of her daughter all smiles as she wears a light bandage on her right elbow instead of a heavy plaster cast. She’s also holding up a printout of her X-ray to show how nicely everything is healing! “This brave little angel got her cast off today!” Ordway cheered. “So proud of my sweet Olivia! Thank you for all the well wishes!”
Back in August, little Olivia had her right arm protected by a cast and on the 15th, had to go for emergency surgery because her arm wasn’t healing the way the doctors wanted. The Y&R actress admitted that her daughter had hurt herself when she tripped over the bottom step in their home and landed on her elbow. “Her surgeon said the surgery should fix it up!” she reported at the time. “She’ll have to wear the cast for an estimated four weeks.”
And true to his word, one month later, Olivia is free of that itchy plaster nightmare! There’s still a bandage to help keep her stitches clean but at least she’s able to be a rambunctious little girl again! (As long as she’s a little more careful on stairs!)
