Michelle Stafford Teases Another Exciting Y&R Return!
We were promised some big returns for THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS as we build to the soap’s 50th anniversary in March, and now Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) has fans buzzing about one of them after she shared a screenshot of some messages she exchanged with a former co-star! “Hmmm… who could this be?” she captioned her post.
“Dearest Michelle, hoping all is wonderful with you and the family,” read the message that she shared a shot of. “So thrilled to see you soon and work with you again!” Stafford responded: “Me too! I’m so excited!”
Now, some fans jumped to the conclusion that it was her TV son, Daniel Romalotti, who would be coming back to Y&R, but they must have missed the news that broke back in September that Michael Graziadei would be reprising his role this fall. In fact, Stafford even shared a selfie she snapped with him on set!
However, given that Daniel is already coming for a visit, the next logical guess would be his father, Danny Romalotti. Michael Damian debuted as the character back in 1980, and after exiting the soap in 1998, returned for visits in 2002, 2008, and 2012. Could another one be in the cards? Given that CBS has promised the return of some Y&R “fan favorites,” Danny would definitely fit the bill!
