Mishael Morgan Updates Fans on Her Status at THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS
It’s been over a month since Amanda has been seen in Genoa City, and portrayer Mishael Morgan had to use social media to reassure fans that she was still part of the cast of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS!
Back in the Aug. 5 episode, Amanda was heartbroken to learn that Naya had slipped into a coma and Devon urged her to go be with her mother. She reluctantly agreed to go but admitted to her beau that she didn’t know when she would be back.
Apparently, that concerned some Y&R viewers who reached out to the actress on Twitter to ask if she had left the soap and wasn’t going to be on at all anymore. “Don’t worry,” Morgan assured multiple worried fans. “I’ll be back on screen very soon.”
Judging from her Instagram, Morgan was enjoying her summer vacation break from work. She shared some pics and videos from a family trip to Trinidad and Tobago with her husband, Navid Ali, and their children, seven-year-old Niam, and three-year-old Naliyah, and it looks like they all had a lot of fun! “The best family vacation yet!” she enthused.
Then, on Aug. 14, the actress was in New York City with co-stars Bryton James (Devon), Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe), and Brytni Sarpy (Elena) to see Christian LeBlanc (Michael) starring as Big Daddy in an Off-Broadway production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. “So much fun!” Morgan said of the visit to the Big Apple to see LeBlanc on the stage. “So proud and happy for you.”
Without Amanda around, Imani has taken the opportunity to get more aggressive with Nate, so hopefully, her sister comes home soon to get her back in line! Plus, there are plenty more stories to tell with the character and more Emmy-winning scenes for Morgan to deliver. “I’ll be back very soon,” she promised.
We can’t wait!
