The Young & The Restless Preview: Jack Gets a Shock!

Things continue spiraling out of control this week on The Young & The Restless! Ashley warily meets with her friend from Paris, a desperate Cole and Victoria discover a new clue, and Jack makes a horrifying discovery when he finally tracks down Nikki!

The Abbotts are willing to do whatever it takes to get Ashley the help she needs, even if that means bringing in her friend, Alan, from Paris. As a psychiatrist, he might just be able to get through to Ashley and restore her to normal. With Jack sitting nearby at the bar, Alan sits down for a drink with Ashley at Society. “You and I are friends,” he says, reassuringly, “just like we were in Paris.” Unfortunately, Ashley has her guard up. “But there’s an agenda,” she reminds him.

Harrison has been rescued, but no one knows what happened to Claire yet. As they search for their missing daughter, Cole and Victoria come across a doll that seems to be a clue. “Hang on,” Cole remarks as he takes a closer look at the toy and notices something on the doll’s back. “What is this? There’s something inside here.” Could it be a clue to finding Claire?

In a hotel room, a disheveled Nikki throws her whole weight against the door to keep it shut. “Don’t make me push the door in,” Jack calls out. Giving up, Nikki steps away. “Fine,” she slurs. “You asked for it.” As Jack enters the suite, he takes in the bottles of liquor, the knocked-over lamps, and Nikki’s own appearance. “My God,” he exclaims as he shuts the door behind him. “What happened here?” Will he be able to help Nikki get back on the wagon? Can anyone help her?
