The Photo That Has Y&R Fans Convinced Sharon Case is Engaged!

Tags:

There’s an old adage you might have heard of: A picture is worth a thousand words. And a photo shared on Instagram by THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS‘ Melissa Ordway (Abby) clearly showed a group of friends having fun as they sat outdoors at a bistro table, indulging in celebratory pizza and wine. The group included Ordway’s Y&R’s co-stars Sharon Case (Sharon), Hunter King (Summer), and Amelia Heinle (Victoria) as they gathered in honor of colleague Laura Walsh’s 20th anniversary as a Y&R production coordinator.

But eagle-eyed Y&R fans saw something else in Ordway’s photo from the fun girls’ lunch: Case, seated on an iron bistro chair with her legs crossed, had her left hand resting on her jean-clad thigh. And on the ring finger of Case’s left hand was a sparkly, glittering ring.

Now, there’s every possibility that Case was simply wearing a blingy piece of jewelry on the fourth finger of her left hand. But many of Ordway’s followers couldn’t help but wonder if Case — who is dating co-star Mark Grossman (Adam) in real life — was wearing the ring. “Is that an engagement ring I see on Sharon Case’s finger?” wrote one follower, sparking a flurry of responses from fellow Instagrammers who wondered the same.

“Eek! I see a ring on Sharon’s finger!” wrote another fan. “Did I miss something?” asked yet another. “Is Sharon engaged?”

Well, Janet and everyone else, there’s been no official announcement from either Case or Grossman, so if they are engaged, it is not public knowledge and news that the couple is keeping to themselves at the moment. But if Case and Grossman are, in fact, planning to get married, we wish the couple all the best! And keep on checking back with SoapsInDepth.com, because as soon as we hear anything official, we will let you know!
