THE TALK to Rerun THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS Anniversary Episodes
Although the Writers Guild of America strike has not yet impacted the soaps directly, it has affected live shows such as talk shows, which have now gone into reruns as there are no writers to pen new scripts for the episodes.Â
However, while the WGA strike means that there are no new episodes of the CBS chat show THE TALK coming up in the near future, there are some reruns that soap fans might be interested in checking out if they missed them the first time around (or maybe if they want to see them again)!
THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS is marking its 50th anniversary this year, and as part of the celebration, THE TALK had multiple guests from the popular soap back in March to look back on decades of drama in Genoa City. And during the week of May 22, they will be rerunning four of those episodes!Â
On Monday, May 22, the guests will be the Abbott family, including Peter Bergman (Jack), Eileen Davidson (Ashley), Beth Maitland (Traci), and Jason Thompson (Billy). Then, on Tuesday, May 23, the show welcomes Michael Graziadei (Daniel), Camryn Grimes (Mariah), Bryton James (Devon), and Christel Khalil (Lily). (Including Graziadei’s surprise marriage proposal!)
The Thursday, May 25 episode will be an encore of the one that included Sharon Case (Sharon), Joshua Morrow (Nick), and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis). Then finally, on Friday, May 26, their guests will be Tracey Bregman (Lauren) and Christian LeBlanc (Michael).
So if you missed these special anniversary celebrations full of memories and flashbacks of classic Y&R moments, now is your chance to watch! And, if you did enjoy them the first time around, you can also tune in to watch them all over again!
