THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ Michael Mealor Is Married!
Please join us in congratulating THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Michael Mealor (Kyle) and his new wife, Sasha, who got married last week! The couple tied the knot in a beautiful outdoor ceremony on March 23 at the Stanly Ranch a new luxury hotel in Napa Valley, right in the heart of wine country.
The happy bride shared a photo of the groom sweeping her off her feet — literally — as they shared their first kiss as man and wife under the gorgeous white and pink floral arch in front of all their guests. Sasha captioned the photo with simply their wedding date bookended by simple heart emojis, and the actor commented: “You are my world!” followed by two heart emojis of his own.
And among all the congratulations from friends and fans was a comment from Mealor’s good friend, GENERAL HOSPITAL star Josh Swickard (Chase), who congratulated the bride by using her new married name. “Sasha Mealor!!!” he exclaimed, adding for good measure a heart-eyes, heart, fire, raised hands, and applause emojis.
Mealor joined the cast of Y&R back in March 2018 as the newest actor to play the role of legacy character Kyle Abbott. Although he announced his exit in July 2021, he continued to make occasional appearances over the following year and returned full-time in March 2022.
The couple announced their engagement back in November 2022, when Sasha shared some pics and videos from when he popped the question to her while they were on vacation in Nassau in the Bahamas. “You are my world and everything begins now,” Mealor declared as their news became public.
