Mishael Morgan Says Movies Can't Compare to Soaps (EXCLUSIVE)

Having been working on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS for years, Mishael Morgan (Amanda) says that working on the Lifetime Movies thriller A Killer In My Home gave her a whole new perspective on life at the soap. “It was really fun. I got to be on a different set with different people, but it is such a different world than soap operas! We just move so fast [on Y&R] that it’s unbelievable!” she told Soaps In Depth with a smile. “I was sitting there just twiddling my thumbs all day.”

While Morgan says that time passed quickly for her because she loved being on the movie’s set interacting with the cast and crew, it still took a bit of getting used to. “I was like, ‘We’re doing that scene again? Didn’t we do it about 10 times?’” she recalled with a laugh. “They’re like, ‘We’re going to shoot it from a different angle.’ The funny thing is that these movies shoot very quickly so, in terms of production, they thought they were fast. And I was like, ‘This is not fast at all! We’re still on the same scene, guys!’”
