Daytime Emmys 2018: The Winners
Though still not broadcast on television, the 45th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards was streamed across the internet and through the KNEKT app, onto TV’s as well as computers for an enormous audience. And as always, the Daytime Emmys were a glamorous affair full of glittering soap stars. But the big news is who won Daytime Emmys this year!
After an opening montage of the past 45 years of Daytime Emmys, a massive dance number had all the stars in the audience leaping out of their seats to get the party started right. Then they settled in for the serious business of naming the best of the previous year in daytime television handing out trophies to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, DAYS OF OUR LIVES, GENERAL HOSPITAL, and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS. And while we weren’t 100% right on with our predictions, we actually got a few right along the way!
