Kristoff St. John Returns to THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS!

At long last, Kristoff St. John is returning to THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS as Neil Winters! While the actor recently teased that his return was in the works, He is now back on set at the soap and should begin airing sometime in April!

“He’s back!” declared Daniel Goddard (Cane) on Instagram, sharing a pic of himself and Bryton James (Devon) with their much-missed castmate. “Please welcome the one and only Kristoff St. John back to Y&R!”

He also shared another with St. John and Eric Braeden (Victor). “The look of joy on Eric’s face really says it all!” Goddard wrote. “We are such a close-knit group and always have each other’s backs. Everyone has missed Kristoff and we can’t begin to tell you how happy were are to have you back!”

Back on March 3, the actor teased his return when he shared a montage of photos of his haircut and beard trim with the caption: “The comeback kid. I’m ready.” He also included hashtags for Y&R including one for the soap’s upcoming 45th anniversary. And St. John is looking better than ever!

St. John took some time off from the show back in October of 2017 to cope with some issues he was having regarding the tragic suicide of his son, Julian, back in 2014. But he later returned to social media to reassure his worried fans that he was doing much better, sharing inspirational quotes and photographs. And in February, he even shared some snaps of himself and a gorgeous model at the Eiffel Tower in Paris!

Neil hasn’t been seen on-screen since November of 2017 when Neil left for New York to care for his son, Moses, so fans have been eager to see the character front and center in Genoa City again. One thing’s for sure — Devon could certainly use his father’s counsel as he deals with a determined Hilary’s intent to have a baby with him! And it would certainly be interesting to see if Neil would get mixed up in the latest battle in the Newman/Jabot war or if he would keep himself — and Hamilton/Winters — out of the mess!
