Maya’s Parents Are Coming!
Maya’s story is about to get even more dramatic now that THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL has cast the parents who rejected her. TV Insider broke the news that Anna Maria Horsford and Obba Babatundé will be playing Vivienne and Julius Avant.
Horsford is best known for her work on AMEN and THE SHIELD, and got her start with a role on GUIDING LIGHT as Clara in 1979. And you might recognize Babatundé from DAWSON’S CREEK or his voice from a number of animated series. He also had a stint on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS as Carter in 2007.
Horsford is scheduled to make her first appearance on Friday, July 3, followed by Babatundé on Thursday, July 9. How will Vivienne and Julius react when they meet Maya for the very first time and see what their son Myron has become?
