Aaron D. Spears Promises His New Primetime Gig Doesn’t Mean He’s Leaving THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL

It’s understandable that Aaron D. Spears would be excited about his new role in an upcoming episode of THE ROOKIE, but the actor is also quick to reassure his fans that he is not leaving THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, where he has played Justin Barber since 2009! As fans congratulated the actor on his new gig on the ABC primetime cop drama, one asked if this meant he was leaving the soap. “Stop starting rumors,” Spears cautioned. “Still on B&B!”

THE ROOKIE stars soap alum Nathan Fillion (Joey, ONE LIFE TO LIVE) and had its series premiere on Oct. 16. However, Spears will not be appearing until a little ways into the season. “My character, Ronald Campbell, comes to life in episode five,” the actor teased on Instagram. At this time, ABC has not officially announced an air date for the fifth episode of the series, but we’ll be sure to let you know when they do.

Spears first joined B&B as Justin back in September of 2009 and has bounced between being a contract and recurring player on the soap. And he has also moonlighted in film and primetime during his time on B&B, with an ongoing role on BEING MARY JANE as well as guest appearances on shows like CASTLE, THIS IS US, and NCIS: LOS ANGELES. Obviously, Spears was able to squeeze a quick appearance on THE ROOKIE into his busy schedule!

Although with Bill constantly in need of someone to pull his fat out of the fire, niece Emma experiencing all kinds of drama working at Forrester, and ex Donna back in town, Justin should have plenty to do in upcoming episodes of B&B so fans shouldn’t worry about Spears going anywhere anytime soon!
