Nazanin on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS — Everything You Need to Know
It was a case of art imitating life when Nazanin Mandi was cast on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS as Nazanin, an internet influencer first appearing in the Friday, May 10, episode of the soap. “I’m so excited to announce you can catch me on Y&R starting this Friday!” the actress/model/singer/influencer posted to her Instagram. “Set your DVRs and check your local listings. Oh, and one more thing… if anyone can guess the type of character I’ll be playing, I’ll be more than happy to follow you back. It’s a hard one!”
Although Y&R marks Mandi’s daytime debut, the performer began singing and dancing at age 3 and modeling at age 10. She was a finalist on the STAR SEARCH spinoff, NEXT BIG STAR, was a contestant on AMERICAN IDOL, and was a series regular on ROCK STAR ACADEMY. Her acting debut was in an episode of THAT’S SO RAVEN, and more recently appeared in HOW TO MAKE A REALITY STAR and the upcoming films The Last Conception and Dreamcatcher.
Mandi will be playing an influencer who may prove indispensable in making Abby, Devon, and Lola’s new endeavor a success.
