B&B and Y&R Stars Remind We’re All “In This Together”

With the world turned on its head during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, the stars of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS took to social media to reassure fans that even with everything that’s going on, we are all connected and in this together.

Separated from each other in isolation in their own homes, the B&B stars nevertheless came together for an inspirational video with humor — Matthew Atkinson (Thomas) joked they were finally taking down their Christmas decorations and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) juggled her baby and her dog — and heart. “This too, shall pass,” reminded Scott Clifton (Liam). And Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) urged fans to “Stay strong.”

Naturally, the cast of sister soap Y&R did the same, coming together to share some wisdom of their own and bringing their families into the mix for good measure. Mishael Morgan (Hilary) wrangled her son while Hunter King (Summer) cradled her dog, and Jordi Vilasuso (Rey) invited his wife and children on camera to share this important message. After Jason Thompson (Billy) and Vilasuso remind us it’s okay to laugh and smile, Joshua Morrow (Nick) added, “You can do all those things. But also be kind, be smart, be considerate, and passionate.”

The internet and social media allow us to all remain connected even as we are isolated in our own homes for safety from the virus, and CBS Daytime wants to remind us that we are in this together. “And together,” declared Eric Braeden (Victor), “we will conquer it.”

Please stay safe and continue to enjoy watching your favorite soaps and staying connected with the stars and other fans online. Get the latest news on SoapsInDepth.com, and for more on your favorite daytime dramas, keep reading the CBS edition of Soaps In Depth magazine.
