Y&R’s Eric Braeden Forced to Evacuate Home to Escape California Wildfires

Once again, deadly wildfires are raging through California and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Eric Braeden (Victor) is just one of the many people who have been forced to evacuate to safety. “Have evacuated our home!” he reported on Twitter. “Kind of sad, because we don’t know if it’ll be around in a few days! Love you all! Be safe!”
Multiple fires are burning in the West Coast, with over 26 million people from California to Arizona under red flag warnings. The Kincade Fire has devastated over 75,000 acres in Northern California’s Sonoma County in the past week, and The Getty Fire has destroyed at least eight homes since it began on Oct 28. A new fire named The Easy Fire broke out in Simi Valley on the morning of Oct. 30.

Last year, GENERAL HOSPITAL actresses Finola Hughes (Anna) and Kimberly McCullough (Robin) were among those forced to evacuate their homes in December. Thankfully, when they returned, their houses were still standing. Unfortunately, Y&R star Tracey E. Bregman wasn’t so lucky and lost her home during a wildfire in November of 2018.
Our thoughts are with Braeden and everyone else in the path of these dangerous fires. We will continue to keep you updated as more reports come in. For more on your favorite Y&R stars, keep reading the CBS edition of Soaps In Depth magazine.
