THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ Mark Grossman Reveals Why He Became an Actor (EXCLUSIVE)
It’s not always easy trying to pin down why a person chooses their career, but THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ Mark Grossman (Adam) thinks that he’s figured out what appealed to him about acting. “When I went to see a movie or watched TV while growing up, something kind of hits you, and makes you feel a certain way. I was like, ‘Man, if I could make someone feel what I just felt, that would be such a cool thing!” he smiled to Soaps In Depth. “The opportunity to do that, and on a different level, to entertain, was such a great thing for me.”
In addition to pushing a viewer’s emotional buttons, Grossman likes the idea that entertainers can actually explore their own psyche through their roles. “Sometimes acting can be a cathartic thing, an extremely personal thing for someone to go through,” he explained. “It’s like exploring one’s own soul!”
