Y&R and B&B Preempted on April 19

As has become unfortunately more and more common in recent years, coverage of breaking news continues to interrupt our regular daytime programming, including the soaps. But fans needn’t worry because the April 19 episodes of both THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS have been preempted and will simply air the following day on Tuesday, April 20.

While this throws the schedule off slightly, viewers don’t have to worry about missing any of the drama on their favorite shows. Sometimes, when the soaps are only preempted in certain areas, they will air in other markets, forcing anyone who wasn’t able to watch normally to seek out the episode online or on-demand in order to stay caught up on the latest twists and turns.

But because this is a national preemption, CBS is simply bumping Monday’s episode to Tuesday, so no one has to jump through hoops to stay caught up on Chelsea’s plot to destroy Adam on Y&R or Liam’s desperation to get away with killing Vinny on B&B.
