Brandon Barash Is Having Another Baby!

Please join us in congratulating Brandon Barash and his wife, Isabella, who are expecting their first child together! The actor appropriately revealed the happy news on Mother’s Day with a family picture of himself resting his hand on his wife’s baby bump while his nine-year-old daughter Harper and their dog, Ruprecht, posed with them.

“In January, our family lost a mother,” Barash shared on Instagram, “and then we gained one. Baby Barash coming to ya September 2023. The Barash Brood continues to grow. Grateful does not begin to describe. Happy Mother’s Day, my queen.”

Barash earned legions of fans when he made his daytime debut on GENERAL HOSPITAL playing Johnny Zacchara in 2007. After his exit in 2013, he returned for a couple of short stints between 2014 and 2016. Then, in 2019, the actor joined the cast of DAYS OF OUR LIVES replacing Tyler Christopher in the role of Stefan DiMera. He also played the character Jake Lambert on the soap during the period of time Stefan was dead. (It’s DAYS — it’s complicated!)

Harper is Barash’s daughter from his first marriage to former GH co-star Kirsten Storms (Maxie). The actor went public with his relationship with Isabella Devoto back in December 2020 and in December 2021, announced their engagement. The couple then tied the knot in December 2022.

The mother Barash refers to losing in his Instagram post is his stepmother, Karen Barash, who passed away in January. But at the same time, his family was blessed with a new addition. And while the child won’t be arriving in December, which is when the other special moments have happened for Barash and his wife, it does mean that we only have to wait until September for the beautiful baby pictures!
