GH’s Haley Pullos Returns to Court

Former GENERAL HOSPITAL actress Haley Pullos (ex-Molly) was back in court on Aug. 30 after pleading not guilty to all charges related to her near-fatal DUI incident in April. She was arrested after driving the wrong way on a freeway and colliding head-on with another vehicle.
Although Pullos had used crutches during last month’s court appearance, this time she was sporting only a black ankle brace, according to The Daily Mail, which shared multiple photos from the courtroom. The judge adjourned the case to October so the attorneys could exchange evidence.
When Pullos’ trial begins this fall, she will face one felony count of DUI causing injury, one felony count of driving with a .08 blood alcohol concentration, and one misdemeanor count of hit-and-run for an alleged incident that took place before the crash. She has pleaded not guilty on all counts.

Pullos joined the cast of GH in 2009 when the character of Molly Lansing-Davis was aged to a pre-teen. Shortly before details of the crash became public, Pullos announced that she would need some time to recover from her car accident and the soap temporarily recast the role with actress Holiday Mia Kriegel beginning the week of May 22.
Then, in the July 19 episode, viewers were surprised to see yet another actress playing Molly, Brooke Anne Smith. And while defending his sister against some GH fans complaining about the recast, Scott Smith informed them that she was “a permanent recast” so it’s unlikely that Pullos will be returning to the role.
