Denise Richards Leaves THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS

The real-life drama has proven too much as a rep for Denise Richards has confirmed to Variety she is leaving THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS and will not be returning for the reality series’ 11th season. But fans of the fictional drama on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL will still be able to enjoy her as Shauna Fulton on the soap.

During the recent 10th season of THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS, Richards found herself under attack by most of the rest of the cast, especially former housewife Brandi Glanville, who claimed they’d had a one-night stand. During a trip to Rome with the cast, Richards was confronted again and tried to walk out of a restaurant, but producers convinced her to return to get some kind of closure. However, there was no closure, and in the season finale, Richards had a major confrontation with longtime friend Lisa Rinna (ex-Billie, DAYS OF OUR LIVES).

Richards joined the cast of B&B back in April 2019, the same year she began appearing on THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS. In that fictional universe, her character of Shauna has fallen for Ridge Forrester and tricked him into marrying her, which will no doubt end very badly for all involved. In real life, Richards married her current husband, Aaron Phypers, in 2018 with no trickery necessary.
