Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Welcomes a Beautiful Baby Boy!
He’s here! THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL viewers have been on baby watch ever since Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) announced that she was pregnant with her fourth child. And now, the newest addition to the Daytime Emmy winner’s family has arrived!
In a post on Instagram, the B&B star shared the wonderful news that she and her husband, Elan Ruspoli, met their fourth son late last month. Set to the instrumental song “Magic Moments” by Austin Farwell, Wood shared an image of her sitting in a white bathtub, cradling her newborn. “August 27th, our baby boy Valor James Ruspoli was born,” she captioned the sweet snapshot. “Our hearts are so full.”
Wood also acknowledged all the well wishes she and her partner have received over the past few weeks as her due date approached. “Thank you for all the messages. Just been taking this time to slow down and soak in this moment,” she added, concluding little Valor’s birth announcement with the hashtag “grateful heart.”
The actress announced back in April during an appearance on THE TALK that she and Ruspoli were expanding another child and later opened up about how they have always wanted a large family. Valor — which means bravery or courage — joins big brothers Rise (4), Lenix (2), and Brando (1).
While Wood’s maternity leave actually began several weeks ago, due to the lead time of when the soap tapes episodes to when they air, the actress will make her final appearance — for the time being! — on Thursday, Sept. 7.
In storyline, Steffy recently walked out on Finn after finding out that he was still in contact with his mother, the dangerous Sheila Carter. She and their kids were staying at the Forrester mansion, but she agreed to return home after Finn promised to have nothing more to do with Sheila. Stay tuned to see what happens next that will take Steffy away from Finn again!
And in the meantime… welcome to the world, Valor James! It is so nice to meet you!
