Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Opens up About Expecting Her Fourth Child
Viewers have probably noticed Steffy carrying lots of big bags on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL and that’s because portrayer Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is pregnant with her fourth child! However, this pregnancy did not come as a surprise to either the actress or her husband, Elan Ruspoli.
“We were trying,” Wood revealed to Michael Fairman. “We wanted to have another child.”
The couple currently has three children together, four-year-old Rise, two-year-old Lenix, and one-year-old Brando. However, despite the fact that they’ve had three boys, Wood admitted that she’s not necessarily hoping for a girl this time around.
“I don’t really care,” she confided. “It’s funny, because we just want a big family. I do hear, ‘You’re trying for that girl, right?’ I think four children is nice and even, and this will be the last one. I think we’re good.
“It’s funny, because I’m technically an only child,” Wood added. “I have a half-sister, but she’s 20 years older than me and my husband’s an only child. So we are now diving into this big family, and it’s so cool. We never got that, so it’s really exciting.”
Working while pregnant is one thing, but balancing B&B while also being a mother of three is entirely something else. “The show has been extremely accommodating,” Wood explained. “I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love being able to work in Los Angeles, close to my home. As for the schedule, it is like boot camp. We are working non-stop. But they’ve scheduled me in a way where I can just hit it and quit it and go back to being a mom.”
And even between being a mom and a working actress, Wood still finds time to enjoy herself. “I think that as moms, we just go a hundred percent in everything we do because we don’t have time,” she mused. “So, if we’re going to go out with our friends, we’re going to have a good time because we don’t know when we’re all going to be able to be together again. So, I level up!”
