B&B’s Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Goes on Maternity Leave

Tags:

As soon as Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) announced that she was pregnant with her fourth child, the countdown began to when the actress would take her maternity leave from THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL to welcome the new addition to the family.

That day is nearly upon us now as Soap Opera Digest is reporting in their new issue that Wood’s last airdate before her maternity leave will be on Thursday, Sept. 7.

The actress first joined the cast of B&B in 2008 when Steffy was aged to an adult, and has only taken a short break from the soap from 2013-15. Well, that is, aside from her previous three maternity leaves in 2019, 2021, and 2022!

Wood and her husband, Elan Ruspoli, have three children together, four-year-old Rise, two-year-old Lenix, and one-year-old Brando. She announced that they were expecting their fourth child together during an appearance on THE TALK on April 17 and later opened up about how she and her husband have always wanted a big family like this.

B&B Steffy Finn
Finn got Steffy to come home but she’s going to leave him again soon!Howard Wise/jpistudios.com

Steffy recently walked out on Finn and took the kids to go stay at the Forrester mansion after she found out he’d had interactions with his mother, the dangerous Sheila Carter. After he agreed to have nothing more to do with Sheila, Steffy forgave him and agreed to come home. But while Finn may try to keep his distance, Sheila is bound and determined to be a part of her son’s life.

So it looks like Steffy will be leaving Finn once more and he won’t be able to work on repairing his marriage until Wood’s maternity leave comes to an end! (Hopefully, Sheila won’t be able to get her claws too deeply into him before that happens!) We’ll just have to wait and see what happens… and for the photos of Wood’s beautiful new baby!
