The name of Sugar on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL has been floating around and some fans may not remember who this character was. Or they might just need a refresher on her. Well, that’s where we come in! Sugar first appeared on B&B back in September 2003 and was played by Robin Mattson. However, when she appeared on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, the role was played by Kimberlin Brown. Don’t worry, we’ll help it all make sense!

Sugar (no last name ever revealed) was a former prison warden who helped Sheila Carter escape and then joined her in kidnapping Ridge Forrester to hold him for ransom. Nick Marone tried to rescue his brother, but wound up being held prisoner as well. Nick flirted with Sugar to try and convince her to let them go, but it didn’t really work. Sugar wanted to take the $10 million they already had from Massimo Marone, but Sheila wanted another $100 million for her and Massimo’s baby. When Brooke Logan attempted to rescue the men, Sugar helped Sheila subdue her as well. However, Nick was able to cozy up to Sugar and while kissing her neck, bit off the key she was wearing and passed it over to Brooke and Ridge, who freed themselves! When the authorities arrived, flames erupted in the foundry leaving Ridge presumed dead and allowing Sheila and Sugar to disappear with the baby Diana.

In 2006, Sheila resurfaced in Genoa City and once again tormented Lauren Fenmore. But when Sheila was arrested after attacking Scotty Grainger with a knife, Lauren went to visit her in prison to get some answers. There, she was stunned to learn that the woman behind bars was actually Sugar, who had been given plastic surgery to look exactly like Sheila! Sugar explained she’d gone after Scotty for revenge because he was the reason Sheila had done these terrible things to her.

By February 2024, Sheila appeared to be turning over a new leaf. So it was a little surprising when she broke into Steffy Forrester’s home intent on killing her. But Steffy turned the tables and in the struggle, stabbed Sheila to death. However, while cremating the body, Deacon Sharpe noticed the corpse had 10 toes (Sheila had cut off one of her own as part of a previous plan to fake her death), he suspected Sheila was alive! While checking Sheila’s phone, Deacon found some rather angry texts exchanged between her and Sugar, and wondered if this was the “friend” from the past she’d been meeting with before her supposed demise.

Could it have been Sugar with Sheila’s face who died in her place? Stay tuned to find out!
