Greg Rikaart Tackles an Exciting New Challenge!

Please join us in wishing good luck to Greg Rikaart (Leo, DAYS OF OUR LIVES; Kevin, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS), who is registered to run in the New York City Marathon this fall! And he’s doing it to raise money for a very worthy cause, too!

“Some exciting news to share,” he posted to Instagram. “I’m running the New York City Marathon in November and raising money for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Please help me and donate at the link in my profile. Thank you! I’m very excited to be running and excited to be helping St. Jude’s.”

Naturally, fans and friends have been flooding the comments on his post with congratulations and well wishes, including castmates like Eileen Davidson (Ashley Y&R; ex-Kristen, DAYS), who declared “Yes!!!” with a series of hand clap emojis and Martha Madison (ex-Belle, DAYS), who simply commented with some raised hands emojis.

Rikaart earned tons of fans when he debuted on Y&R as Kevin Fisher back in 2003 and his short-term villain role turned into a fan-favorite character that continues to recur to this day. Although not nearly as frequently in recent years as the actor has been pretty busy playing Leo Stark on DAYS since 2018!
