Y&R Alum Mishael Morgan Wraps Shooting on Her New Action Movie!

Actress Mishael Morgan stepped away from playing Amanda on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS so that she could pursue other acting opportunities, and they’ve been coming fast and furious. After recently airing in the primetime drama CHICAGO MED, the daytime alum has just wrapped her role in a new action movie titled Sworn Justice!

“That’s a wrap on Sophie Porter!” Morgan enthused on Instagram. “And that’s a wrap on one of the most amazing experiences in my life! Making art with people like this is the dream. I am so blessed and honored to bring this movie to life with all of you. 

“Thank you, Nicole [G. Leier], you are the director every actor dreams of,” she continued. “Huge thank you to the entire cast and crew for making my Christmas and my year. I can’t wait for everyone to see this next Christmas! Blood, sweat, and tears, baby.”

While details on the movie are scarce at this time, Morgan’s mother in the flick is being played by fellow Y&R alum Vivica A. Fox (ex-Stephanie). Her movie mama wrapped shooting before her, so Morgan shared a selfie with the star on her final day. “Such a pleasure being ya momma!” Fox declared in the comments.

Sworn Justice being an action movie now makes those selfies Morgan shared back on Nov. 30 make a lot more sense! The actress showed off some makeup tests that made her look beaten up and bruised but at the time didn’t reveal exactly what project she was working on. And, in some of the photos in her Instagram montage celebrating wrapping shooting, Morgan even has a stunt double in the film, stuntwoman and stunt coordinator Angelica Lisk-Hann!
