Y&R Alum Mishael Morgan Teases Her Newest Role!

Tags:

Fans were upset when Amanda left Genoa City as Mishael Morgan stepped away from THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS. While the actress has insisted that she would be open for the occasional visit, she exited the popular CBS soap in order to pursue other career opportunities and recently teased one that immediately grabbed attention!

“It was a rough couple days in preproduction for my next project,” Morgan joked in a recent Instagram post, adding a “lol” for emphasis. “New beginnings give me butterflies; can’t wait to start kicking some ass!”

In the first photo, Morgan is seen with disheveled hair, a cut and bloody lip, and bruises around her forehead and eye. In the second pic, the actress is flanked by the hair and makeup artists who made her look so beat-up, and in the final shot, she’s looking much more glam!

Unfortunately, Morgan didn’t offer any additional information about this new role aside from tagging Brain Power Studio in the post. Of course, given that she mentions this project is in preproduction means that it may be too early for her to reveal anything yet.

Morgan also shared a dressing room trailer selfie back in October where she said, “Let’s work! Can’t say too much yet, but it was a fun first day.” And that time, the only clue was that she was shooting in Chicago, leading some fans to wonder if she was going to be in an episode of one of NBC’s Chicago-set series, CHICAGO MED, CHICAGO FIRE, or CHICAGO P.D.

While it’s great that Morgan has been booked and busy since leaving Y&R, hopefully, she’ll be able to reveal more about all her new projects soon. So keep checking back here at SoapsInDepth.com because we’ll be sure to keep you up to date on where you can see Morgan next, whether that’s a return to Y&R, another television series or a movie!
