The Meaning Behind Michael Mealor’s Tattoo
With all the time that Kyle is spending naked in bed with Audra on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS lately, fans have noticed that actor Michael Mealor has some interesting ink on his left bicep and have been wondering what the tattoo means.
At first glance, the tattoo appears to be in some kind of foreign or ancient language, like Sanskrit or something. But upon closer inspection, they’re actually Roman numerals. The first line ends with N° and the second line ends with W°, so they appear to be coordinates of some kind.
And in an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Mealor confirmed that his ink is a permanent reminder of what he is most sentimental about, which is: “Where I grew up and my family. I have a tattoo on my arm that is dedicated to all of that.” Since the actor hails from Atlanta, GA, the coordinates could be the location of his family home or another place that holds special meaning for him.
Mealor took over the role of the much-recast Kyle Abbott back in March 2018, and although he exited in August 2021, the actor made a few sporadic appearances before returning to Y&R full-time in April 2022. He also recently married his wife, Sasha, in a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Napa Valley on March 23, 2023, and the couple shared photos from their romantic Italian getaway.
Perhaps one day he’ll get another tattoo commemorating his beautiful wife? Or maybe he’ll wait until they start a family together?
