Adam Huss Returns To General Hospital!
Look for Adam Huss to bring General Hospital’s Nikolas back for a visit next week! According to Soap Opera Digest, the actor is set to reprise his role when Ava visits Nikolas at Pentonville!
The actor later shared the news of his return on Instagram, sending an apology message to his followers that he wasn’t able to tip them off to his comeback sooner. “For all those who’ve been asking, cat’s out of the bag,” he wrote. “Thank you to all my Nikolas [and] GH fans for your unwavering support. I don’t take it for granted for a second! (Even when I can’t answer.)”
Huss joined the cast of GH in September 2021 to step in as Nikolas Cassadine for one episode when Marcus Coloma was unavailable. He returned in November 2022 for a week, and then took over in January 2023 to wrap up Nikolas’ storyline after Coloma left the soap.
However, after it was revealed that Ava hadn’t actually killed Nikolas after all, Huss returned to the canvas once again in January 2024. Unfortunately, Nikolas was wanted by the PCPD for that whole keeping-Esme-prisoner-at-Wyndemere thing while she was pregnant with their son, Ace. Laura convinced her son to turn himself in, and Nikolas has behind bars in Pentonville, serving time for his crimes, ever since. During a recent episode, Laura and Ava discussed how Nikolas was being transferred to a different prison, so it looks like Ava will be heading to the prison to visit her ex-husband before that happens! Hopefully, this won’t be the last we see of Nikolas or Huff!
